Early Roman cast copper-alloy zoomorphic Dragonesque brooch, incomplete as the tail is missing and also the pin. A crudely made example with angular edges, unlike most others this has a reversed 'S' shape. The reverse is flat with many parallel scratch marks which probably derive from the movement of the pin. The obverse is decorated with a 'Celtic-style' moulded decoration and there are circles in relief on each 'dragon's head', mimicking an eye and a smaller nostril. Complete musket shot mould made from iron, for large lead bullets of c. 18.41x17.55mm, dating to the 17th or early 18th century. It is made from two halves pivoted or hinged together to resemble a pair of scissors. It survives complete, except for one handle terminal which is missing. The surviving handle terminal droops slightly inwards. The mould halves are both hemispherical, internally and externally. There is no decoration. On one side, both halves have a small hole on the seam, to allow the molten lead to be poured in. The central rivet is still in place and the handles can be moved.
