Cast copper alloy socketed bronze age spearhead with side loops. The spear head is made up of two fragments. The first of the fragments is the shaft with some of the blade remaining, the shaft is circular in section, and hollow. It tapers slightly to the point were it become the blade where it flares out. On each side of the shaft, rounded loops are present. The blade itself has a central ridge, but is missing its tip, although does appear to taper. The patina is a dark green, with a slight brown mottling.

Copper-alloy socketed looped axehead of Irish Late Bronze Age Type. Due to the short, stocky body of axes of this type, they is referred to as 'bag-shaped' or 'purse-shaped'. The axe's exact measurements are: 57mm in length, the blade width is 43mm, the width of the socket is 31-37mm (inner-outer), the breadth of the socket is 22-27mm (inner-outer, back-front) and the axe weighs 78.97g. These measurements show that the mouth of the axe is aligned with the blade and not back-to-front shaped. The blade was re-worked after the casting process and it is still slightly splayed. However, …

An extremely rare and important Chalcolithic tanged copper dagger dated by XREF analysis to the early Bronze Age 2400 -2,100BC. Most examples occur in early Beaker 'classic' grave assemblages associated with low-carinated Beakers, wrist guards, etc. The dagger is composed of a blade and hilt plate and there is no obvious break at the end of the hilt plate. The hilt plate would have been of organic material, probably wood, horn or antler. The blade is roughly triangular-shaped and tapers towards the tip. The edges are bevelled, but there are no signs of wear and no resharpening marks. …
