A shanked blade of copper alloy probably from a Roman copper alloy stylus or wax spatula. The fragment comprises a rectangular blade which tapers half way along its length to a shank. The blade is smooth and flat with a greenish brown patina although it has some corroded pitting. The shank is circular in cross-section and is the same thickness as the blade except at its end where it gradually tapers to a blunt point. Shares similarities with NMS-B92844 and WILT-06E251.
Length 84mm, Width 23mm, Thickness 1mm, Weight 83.82g.
