Cast cu-alloy hooked tag dating from the early post-medieval period, i.e. c. 17th or early 18th century. The tag is tear-drop shaped and slightly domed with two small rivet holes. The tapering end terminates in a small hook.

An incomplete early medieval copper alloy single sharp hooked tag with with two attachment holes in lobes at top of ovoid plate and collared hook. Both the loops and the hook are missing. The outer face is decorated with eight punched ring and dots - four in the centre and four around the outside. It survives in fair condition with a bright green patina. It probably belongs to Read 2008, Class E, Type 1, which are of c.9th to c.10th century in date. The tag may well be Anglo-Scandinavian influenced. The length is 20mm, the width is 24mm and the weight 1.85g.

Early Post Medieval copper alloy hooked tag, a Read class E type 3 (Read, p.96, no.350). The central plate is circular with a small trapezoidal attachment loop projecting from top and the bottom of the plate extends into an integral rear facing hook. A double banded transverse collar is present at the junction between the plate and hook. The outer face of the plate has moulded relief decoration in the form of a flower with six petals around a central boss, within a raised circumferal border. Dates to between c1500 and c1700 AD. Length 27mm, width 11mm, thickness 5mm, weight 1.8g.

Post medieval hooked tag; fragment of cast copper alloy hooked tag of probable late 15th or 16th century date. The fragment consists of a squared loop and the top section of what would be an openwork plate, presumably roughly circular in plan. The plate would have had a hook attached to the lower edge, opposite the attachment loop. The length is 21mm, the width is 15mm and the weight 2.18g.
