Cast copper alloy book clasp dating to the Medieval period. It consists of a thin strip of copper alloy which is sub-rectangular in plan, and rectangular in section. It has been shaped in a symmetrical way with both the top and bottom of the object projecting outwards to the same width on either side. These projections have rounded ends. A complete copper alloy shoe or clog clasp of post-medieval date. The clasp is sub-rectangular in plan with one straight end and one rounded end from which an integral curved hook with lunate shaped tab projects. A plain short rectangular hook is present extending from the central point of the opposite end. The upper surface of the clasp is decorated with a stag on a landscape within a floral design above and below. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a brownish patina and is worn. An incomplete copper-alloy shoe or clog clasp of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1700 - 1900. The clasp is rectangular in plan with parallel sides and rounded corners. Two smaller rectangular plates project from the centre of the two shortest end, both terminating in worn breaks. The front of the main plat is decorated with a border of wriggle work. The reverse is undecorated. The metal has a dark brown patina and is worn. The clasp is 19.2mm long, 12mm wide, 1.4mm thick and weighs 1.4g.

Probably a Post Medieval copper alloy hinged clasp or book fitting. It is triangular in plan. At the apex of the triangle there is a projecting peg. It is hinged across the base and part of the other hinge plate remains. The projecting peg was likely to have either been a attachment point for mounting the object, or was for engaging with a clasp element. Probably dates to between c1500 and c1850 AD. Length 42mm, width 40mm, thickness 7mm, and weight 9.81g.

An incomplete pressed white metal coated copper alloy clog clasp, of Late Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (AD 1790 to c. AD 1920). The clog clasp is sub rectangular in plan, with straight sides. The remnants of hooks are located at the top and bottom of the clasp. The decoration on the front is of a foliate design, with curling leaves and tendrils. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy clog clasp element. It is more or less oval in plan and curved in section. The outer edge has four flattened lobes on each side The outer face is decorated with an oval central cartouche surrounded by a foliate border. The inner face is undecorated but has two inwardly curved hook like tabs at either end that would have attached to the other elements of the clasp. It dates to between c1750 and c1950 AD. The length is 21mm, width 13mm, thickness 2.5mm, and the weight is 0.66g.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (c. AD1600-c. 1700), possibly a clog clasp. It is very thin and of rectangular/elongated oval shape with six small rivet holes and three semi-circular cut outs on the middle. One (towards the top) is damaged and incomplete. This may have been a mount for leather (possibly a clog clasp) or a decorative strengthener for a buckle strap.

The mount is composed of two elements: a cast copper alloy folded over strip of metal and shield shaped plate decorated with a stylised fleur-de-lys and ornamental flowers. A medieval copper-alloy king's head clasp, dating from 1250 to 1400 AD. The frame is rectangular and has slightly convex sides; the base is broken and the bar missing. The top is decorated with a triangular human face in relief, with incised triangular eyes and round pellet nose.
