Medieval silver brooch formed of four crescents joned together with three shields which are keyed for enamel. The shields are decorative rather than heraldic. A fourth space is left vacant for the attachment of the pin which may have borne a fourth shield to complete the composition. The pin is absent. The brooch dates from c1300 to c1400 AD. Length 23mm and width 21.5mm.

A medieval silver annular brooch dating from the late 13th to early 14th century 1280 to 1320 AD. Circular sectioned frame, now slightly distorted, with four equally spaced and separately made knops each of which encloses the frame that are undecorated and the bracelet is worn smooth over much of the surface. There are two smaller knops that surround the shank of the pin next to the loop. There is a setting for the pin which is now missing and wear on the frame from the pin. Medieval inscribed silver annular brooch, complete with pin. The brooch has a flat, circular frame with a pin restriction. Both sides are decorated in relief. Lozenge-armed crosses within squares separate running hares on one side. The other side has an inscription in French that has been interpreted by Malcolm Jones as MON QVER AVET TENET SI VO VOLE, which translates as 'Have my heart Keep (it) if you want (it)'. Treasure case 2021 T149 Description  A complete Medieval silver annular brooch dating to c.AD 1250-1400. The frame of the brooch is complete, but the pin is missing. The frame is circular in shape and in section. At one small section the frame narrows to form the constriction for the now missing pin. Medieval brooch consisting of a circular frame with grooved decoration at four equidistant points. Black niello decoration remains in some of the grooves but is missing in most of them. The pin survives intact and is still in place. The pin has a circular collar and tapers to a point. The brooch is silver and dates from the 13th century or early 14th century. Very small silver annular brooch dating from the medieval period that is the 14th/15th century. There are six equidistant cross hatched knops surmounting the frame which is rounded on the front and flat on the back. The pin is intact swivelling on a constricted area of the frame and would have been separately made.
