Cast copper alloy Headstud type bow brooch dating from c.70 through to the late 2nd century. The brooch is mostly complete although the catchplate and pin are missing and the headloop has broken off. It is a hinged type and the top of the pin is still present. The wings are broken at the ends but would have had square ends. They have moulded steps from the centre to the end. Cast lead figurine dating from the Roman to the Medieval period. The figure is cast in one piece and is relatively crude in both shape and design. It is broadly sub-rectangular in shape and D-shaped in cross-section with the reverse being flat and undecorated and the sides being bevelled. The figure is worn and has an exaggerated phallus. The arms of the figure are however appear to be clasped over the chest. The face is worn and only a linear mouth can be seen. Fragment of a cast copper ally Roman knee brooch. The head and part of the bow remain. It is a fan shaped plate headed type. The remains of the bow is slightly arched and hollow. Behind the head are two perforated integral lugs between which the spring would have sat. It has a smooth light green patina.

Well defined features, slit mouth with possible moustache defined by slanting grooves to either side eminating from beneath the nose. A pair of short protrusions from the chin resembles a forked beard. Drilled 'dimple' on top lip, well defined oval eyes and eyebrows with drilled pupils. Enamelled copper alloy disc-shaped decorative stud dating from the Roman period. The field contains a small central blue enamel disc, an inner ring of green enamel and an outer ring of blue enamel containing a series of eight dots that may once have contained a different coloured enamel but now missing. A small later Roman (AD 200-410) cast copper-alloy key. The bow is circular with the rectangular-section stem projecting from one edge. A rectangular bit then turns a right angle at the end of the stem. The bit contains one rectangular cleft which can be seen from the end of the key. Two grooves decorate the stem of the key, and there are two grooves on the outer face of the bit. The object has a dark green patina. 22mm diameter of hoop, 30mm in length, 14mm in width (of bit), 10mm thick (of bit), weight 9.6g.
