Cast lead spindle whorl probably dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is circular in plan and oval in cross-section. It has a large central circular perforation. The perforation has an internal diameter of 12.20mm. Both surfaces are decorated with a moulded linear star-burst pattern. Each point of the star is divided by raised pellets. The outer edge of the object has been pressed inwards and overlaps part of the decoration on each surface. Cast cu-alloy (probably) tool of uncertain date. Is was made from an alloy with a high percentage of copper by the looks of it; its surface is shiny and smooth. However, the identification is hampered by the bumpy overall surface. The object seems complete, but not very well cast when made. It may have possibly been a tool for woodworking.

Possible corrective shoe often called a bar shoe or a shoe for an ox. The bar shoe was used to correct the horses gait as this can be significantly affected by the shape, weight, and thickness of the horseshoe. Farriers trained in hot shoeing made custom shoes to help horses with bone or musculature problems in their legs. A possibly medieval cast lead roughly shield shaped weight perhaps a trade weight dating between 1400-1600AD. The top face of the weight is concave and the reverse is flat. At the top of the weight is a hole possiblt to act as a suspension loop.The top face has a decoration now illegible obscured by plough damage. These shield weights with royal heraldic designs (lys and lions, with crowns) are relativley common in northern England. It is 45mm in length, 35mm in width, 10mm thick and weighs 50.12g. Medieval copper alloy buckle with two fragments of the pin. The main loop is oval with a notch for the pin and rectangular strap loop. This buckle belongs to a small group of buckles dating mainly to the period 1350-1450AD, the number of types within this group is fairly limited. They are thought to have been used to secure sword or dagger belts but some have been found from excavations which are still attached to waist girdles. The length is 24mm, the width is 25mm, thickness 2mm and the weight is 1.67g. The length of the pin fragments are 8mm and 2mm respectively.

Cast copper alloy spoon of Medieval or Post-Medieval date. The bowl corresponds with fig shaped (Ward Perkins, 1967), the bowl is narrow at the point where it attached to the stem, and expands towards the forward edge which is rounded. There are no maker's marks or stamps on the spoon. The spoon has been tinned or silvered. Only a small amount of the stem remains which is 5.70mm wide.
