It has alo been pierced with a neat, round hole, probably contemporaneously. A complete copper alloy trade weight, one of a set that would have stacked. It is circular with a raised rim, and the weight would suggest that it is 1/2 ounce. Inside are the stamps of a laver or coffee pot, the inspection mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders, who controlled the lawful making of weights in London and for three miles around (Withers and Withers 2011, page 78). A Roman copper alloy finger ring. The ring is in poor condition, and is no longer circular as the shank has been broken and flattened in antiquity. The bezel survives and is decorated with a 'bullseye' pattern typical of the period. The outer ring has red enamel remaining, the next circular cell has no enamel. It is 34.63mm in length, 31.48mm in width and 4.73mm in thickness. It weighs 5.23g. Hattatt (Ancient and Romano-British Brooches, 128-9) dates this type of brooch to the 1st century AD, classifying it as type D.

A circular copper alloy livery button that with the remains of silver plating. It has the initials LV set in a representation of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order - an eight pointed star formed of parallel lines of varying lengths. A crown is set in the top of this. A barbed and tanged arrowhead, formed by knapping. It is made of a pale semi- transluscent flint with some inclusions. It is slightly flatter on one side then the other, and the tip of one of the barbs is missing. Having been found near a beach it has been worn so no sharp edge remains, but the shape is consistent. Arrowheads such as these, see also NMGW-24C12C, are classified as Sutton Type B (Green 1980) are commonly associated with the emergence of the Beaker phenomenon in Britain. The weight is undecorated other than a score line across the inner face  it has not been perforated There is an incised ring on the front of the weight, it also has a wide rim. The weight is rounded.other than a flat section possibly when dropped. The weight appears to be complete. The lead is a dark whitish-grey colour.
