Obverse depicts a crowned shield of a rampant lion and the legend reads as IACOBVS 6 D G R SCOTORVM. The reverse is a crowned thistle and the legend reads REGEM IOVA PROTEGIT. Dates to between 1601 and 1604 AD.
The diameter is 31mm and the weight 5.93g.
