A complete silver and enamel ring. It has a circular band which is in split at the back, so that it can be adjusted to fit. The bezel is oval, and enamelled in shades of blue and white with an image of a parachute and the words PARACHUTIST U S ARMY on it. USA is also engraved in the sides of the band as they meet the bezel. It was found near a station for the US Army in World War II, and is reminiscent of the 'class ring' that is popular amongst American students. The image falls below the required standard and will be replaced as soon as possible. Dimensions: 21mm diame…

Cast pewter ring. The hoop is plain to the rear. The bezel takes the form of a man’s face with a beard and a significant mane of hair which stretches around to the sides of the hoop. Probably very modern in date as the construction is crude and the hoop is very thick.
