An iron horseshoe of uncertain age. It is asymmetric, one branch is pointed and one ends in a wide, blunt end. The central shape is a pointed arch.It is too corroded to identify the number of holes present.  It has some of the characteristic shape of a thirteenth century Dove shoe, but it could also date from the eighteenth century, the level of corrosions may suggest an earlier date Dimensions: 130mm long and 120mm wide approximately, it weight 239g

A copper alloy buckle frame, rectangular in shape, curved either side of the long axis. It is very degraded and it is not possible to determine if it was decorated, and how, at any point, but clear are the holes drilled at top and bottom. In these are the remains of an iron spindle. This spindle and the overall form dates it to AD 1720-1800 (Whitehead 2003, 104). Dimension: 35mm high and 30mm wide approximately

A lead alloy weight in the shape of a cone with a rounded top. Out of the top of this is an iron bar of circular section, with a wider diameter piece on the end of this, to facilitate the fixing of a suspension string. It weighs 263g which is just under 10 imperial ounces, or 5/8 of a pound, which it may have represented when new before any loss occurred. Dimensions: 32mm diameter at the bottom and 14mm diameter at the top, it is 46mm high and weighs 263g

A complete but degraded flanged copper alloy flat axe head. It is approximately rectangular, widening along its length towards the blade. The blade flares out to the side. In profile the axe is lenticular, wide in the centre. There is a faint suggestion of parallel lines decorating the object in the top half towards the blade. Also faint are traces of low flanges having been present at one time.The face are worn and degraded, and some of the metal is now missing as a result, especially on one side of the blade, which may also be the reason that the flanges are barely discernible. A very worn copper alloy token. On one face is a ring of chain like decoration which forms a dividing line round the token. Outside this is lettering which runs around the entire circumference, this is largely indistinguishable. Inside the circle is written THEIR PENNY 1672, with decorative, simple flowers underneath. On the other side is the same chain-like division again with lettering around the circumference. In the centre is a wide plain circular image, with another circle in the centre, across this is a broad line. What this represents is not easy to see.

A complete silver and enamel ring. It has a circular band which is in split at the back, so that it can be adjusted to fit. The bezel is oval, and enamelled in shades of blue and white with an image of a parachute and the words PARACHUTIST U S ARMY on it. USA is also engraved in the sides of the band as they meet the bezel. It was found near a station for the US Army in World War II, and is reminiscent of the 'class ring' that is popular amongst American students. A bronze age spearhead in two pieces. The spear is triangular, but slopes downward where it meets the socket. The socket, which is very degraded, is conical in section. The tip of the spear is broken off but still fits the body well, and is certainly from the same spear. The spear head has a central rib which extends down the length to the socket, and either side of this the body is proud of the blade sides and forms a narrow raised triangle, again terminating the the socket. Part of a copper alloy pot foot. It is basically rectangular in shape, the front has a central ridge moulded in which defines a triangular foot. The foot is flat to the horizontal, the back of the foot is undecorated. A bronze age axe or chisel of copper alloy. It is a truncated triangle in shape, widening towards the blade but maintaining a narrow profile. The sides are therefore largely parallel with a small cutting area. There is no stop bezel present. The profile is lenticular. A complete cast copper-alloy palstave like chisel or axe of Middle Bronze Age date. It has a long blade of rectangular section, which tapers to a curved, narrow cutting edge, triangular in section. This expands beyond the blade either side to finish with a short section. The butt end would have been flat but is slightly damaged and therefore curves inwards slightly. Silver plated livery button with square fastener. The button is biconvex and hollow. On the front a border is formed with a slightly raised moulding around the edge. The central image is of the head of a griffin, facing left and resting on a wreath with crossed spears behind it. The fastener is square with a central circular hole, and is moulded as part of the button. The makers name is moulded into the back of the button and is OLLIVANT. A complete post-medieval copper-alloy cup weight, probably belonging to a nested set dating to c.AD 1600 - 1850. The weight is circular in plan with sides that flare outwards from the base to give it a trapezoidal side profile. Overall it is formed of a truncated cone, upside down.
