Copper alloy disc with two perforations for attachment probably dating circa 19th century. The disc could be a button but is more likely to be a machine plate or tag. The diameter is 25mm and the weight 5.69g.

Name tag, made from cast copper-alloy inscribed 'Mr Clifton, Esq, Lytham, 1751'. It is broken in two and was attached with three small rivets, held in place by square washers. The fragments measure: Length/Width: 62x24mm, Thickness: 8mm, Weight: 13.8g (large fragment); Length/Width: 31x24mm, Thickness: 1mm, Weight: 7.93g (smaller fragment).
