Four disc lead seal, traces of gilding. One of the main discs has a wheel-like device with a crown and a series of initials between the spokes - H A e Ca [R]. The other main disc has suffered more corrosion but shows a shield and probably a version of the company's heraldry - the arms of England and Scotland joined together and with a fish to the right at the top, all over a large globe.

Late Medieval lead seal, of cloth seal form. One end disc is provided with a rivet and the other holed. The two discs are joined to the each other by a means of a thin connecting strip of metal. The seal has been folded over, but no cloth survives between the two discs. The imprint of the seal shows the year 1652 or 1659 and root vegetables (turnips or radishes). The obverse inscription reads 'GARTNER D C S V (?) [?]' and it is likely that this seal was attached to a sack or bag of vegetables.

Cast lead seal of cloth seal type with a central hole. Shows evidence of being bent in the middle. Late Medieval/Early Post-Medieval in date. Only one half of the seal remains but a segment of the lead strap which would have connected the other half - the riveted lead disc - is visible. The hole in this remaining half would have accomodated the connecting rivet. None of the cloth survives. The decoration on the seal is weak and worn. On one face is a moulded sun face with wavy rays framing it, any legend which once was present is no longer visible or legible. There appears to be no surviving design in relief on the reverse disc. An incomplete post-Medieval lead alloy two-disc cloth seal (c. 1500-c. 1650). The seal is formed by two circular discs, one with a hole in the centre and the other with a stud protruding. These discs are joined by an integral connecting strip which is folded in half so the discs over-lay each other, and the stud protrudes through the hole. Lead alloy alnage seal used for bags of cloth from the Post-Medieval period 1700 - 1900AD. It is made from two circles attached by a thin strip, then folded over in half. The seal appears to depict a light infantry regiment and may relate to military goods. Alnage, or aulnage (from Fr. aune, ell) is the official supervision of the shape and quality of manufactured woollen cloth. In the reign of Edward I an official called an "alnager" was appointed to enforce it. There is no evidence of a hole or rivet to accomodate the other half but there is a deep impression on the reverse to suggest that the intention for this lead disc was to form a seal. There is no decoration or inscription but there are tool markings on the obverse and reverse.
