uncertain neck shape as truncated, body complete, attachment loops near complete , sub rectangular shape. Slight compression in situ, oxidised surface, mottled grey-cream and brown in colour, uneven. An incomplete lead-alloy pilgrim's ampulla of medieval date, c.AD 1350 - 1550. The body of the ampulla is circular with an elongated rectangular neck extending from one edge. Part of the neck and upper body have been lost to worn breaks. A distorted attachment loop is present to the other side of the neck where it meets the body. The opening at the top of the neck has been pinched shut. Both sides of the body display traces of molded decoration though it is now too worn to be determined.
