Copper alloy anthropomorphic head form an unknown object and unknown date. No parallels have been found for this object. The head has an oval flat face with recessed lentoid eyes. The nose is long and narrow with flared nostrils. The mouth is open with raised full lips. There is no visible decoration on the rear of the head. A fragment of a lead alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object is sub-oval in plan and is D-shaped in cross-section. The outer face is decorated with a central vertical rib, from which extend diagonal ridges forming a herringbone pattern. Above the herringbone are eye-like raised pellets on each side of the central rib. The top of the object above the pellets is rounded and undecorated. The rear of the object is undecorated and flat. Group of melted silver objects and an old button or weight (listed separately). The silver objects (2-5) were found encased in melted plastic box (1) & associated with other burnt objects as well as the button. It is worth noting that local tradition has it that there was a fire at a nearby hall. It is likely that this material was dumped while clearing up after the fire. None of the silver objects can be identified with any surety. However there appears to be a late Roman coin fused to one of the lumps of silver (5). An assemblage of eleven copper alloy band or strap fragments, possibly from a stave built bucket. From the fragments it has been possible to adduce that at least some of the straps were originally 66mm wide, attached by rivets of pegs through perforations approximately 3mm in diameter, and probably originally reactangular in plan. There are no diagnostic features that can allow a reliable dating. The fragments could date to anytime from the Bronze Age to the Post Medieval. Suggested date range c2350 BC to c1850 AD Total weight of fragments is 68.23g.

Unusual lead alloy mount of unknown date and period it appears to be in the form a medal decorated with a swastika. The stamped cross is more consistent with a later Medieval style, suggesting it dates to the 12th to 16th Centuries AD. The pendant is a mid grey in colour, with an even surface patina. Two amorphic piece of copper alloy slag. Found in an area with Bronze Age and Roman artefacts. The surface is characterised by lumps and hollows and has a tin element is indicated relating to bronze working. The slag has a good deep green patina, similar to that seen on some local Bronze Age metalwork, so it may date from this period.
