Three cast copper alloy rivets, still attached to a small piece of thick leather, probably dating from the late post-medieval or modern period, that is c. 1600-1900. The rivets have domed heads and short square-sectioned shafts. They hold two thick pieces of leather together; the rivets are now bent. It is impossible to say what kind of artefact the leather came from, but possibly horse trappings or a belt.
