A large round openwork copper-alloy harness boss (mount) dating to c. 1600-1700. The artefact consists of a dome, with a radiating surround at the base. The central motif of the boss is raised pellet within a raised circular border with 4 knops within 4 raised sub-circular borders. Within these borders are matching designs of 3 pellets and 2 flowers probably stylised fleur-de-lys all within a circular beaded border. A cast copper alloy acorn dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is convex at the front and concave at the rear. The cupola has no visible decoration. At the base of the cupula is an extension in the form of a hoop. There does not appear to be any attachment spikes. There is no direct parallel for this object, it was possibly used as a spoon, but it is probably contemporary with acorn mounts dating 1500 to 1700AD. Shares similarities with LVPL-25B3A4, KENT-BEA1A2 and LANCUM-804F92 on the database. The length is 33mm, the width is 15mm thickness 7mm and the weight 3.58g.

The domed outer face depicts a crowned bust facing left, possibly William III, with a circumferal border of widely spaced pellets approximately 3mm from the original edge. Post Medieval copper alloy mount, probably from a piece of furniture or a coffin. It is incomplete and in two pieces. The rear is undecorated, slightly concave, and retaining a central fixing rivet on the larger of the two fragments. The outer face is decorated and depicts a child's face haloed by curls (on the larger fragment) surmounting ribboned swags. The left hand swag as viewed, is missing. The swags are decorated, possibly to depict stylised wings or foliage. Dates to between c1600 and c1900 AD. Length 35mm, width 30mm, weight 5.6g.

Probable late Post Medieval to early Modern silver pyramidal mount set with an amber coloured glass or stone. Possibly from something like a jewellery or knick knack box as the base is flat. The mount is hollow (only 0.8g including the glass/stone) which suggests a Victorian Gothic Revival or Arts and Crafts Movement object. Suggested date range c1840 to c1920 AD, but possibly later. Length 9mm, width 6mm, height 7mm, weight 0.8mm.
