Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
Small cast lead-alloy bottle dating from the late post-medieval or early modern period, i.e. 1700-1900. The bottle was roughly cast and badly finished with a lop-sided neck and ill-defined shoulders. It is unknown what it was used for but it is possible that it was a small ink bottle. It would have had a stopper made from wood, cork or leather.
