A silver sixpence of William III, dated 1696 on coin, Bristol mint mark. Obverse: Laureate, draped bust facing right. Obverse inscription: GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. Reverse: Crowned shields of England, Scotland, France and Ireland arranged in a cruciform; lion of Nassau at centre. Reverse inscription: MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX 1696. The diameter is 20mm and the weight is 2g.

Medieval hammered silver coin of Edward I, a class 3d due to the style of the drapery and the letter H with the out turned tail. (North 1019). The letter S is of the early composite type, contraction marks are crescents. The initial mark is a cross. The mint is Bristol. Dates from c1280 to c1281 AD. Obverse legend reads as EDW R ANGL DNS hYB. Reverse legend reads as VILL ABR ISTO LLIE.
The diameter is 19mm and the weight 1.18g

The mint is Bristol. Dates from 1280 to 1281 AD. Obverse legend reads as EDW R [ANGL DNS hYB]. Reverse legend reads as [VI]LL A[BR ISTO] L[LIE].
