Post Medieval cast lead alloy, or lead, trade weight. This discus like weight appears to have been designed to be used suspended, possibly as a counterweight to grain bushels or wool bales. It has two official crown marks, the earlier appears to be for James I. These marks are on one side, along with the two holes that were cast into it. The reverse side is also domed, and the funnel shaped cavity's smaller hole is central. Dates to between 1603 and 1901 AD. The thickness is 26mm, diameter is 114mm.

A complete lead alloy weight or spindle whorl of probable medieval date 1100 to 1500 AD. The object is broadly circular in plan and cylindrical and undecorated although this may have eroded away. There is a circular aperture through the centre of the object which may suggest this is a spindle whorl rather than a weight. These types of objects are hard to date as their appearance remained unchanged for many hundreds of years. However it is likely that this spindle whorl is of medieval date (AD 1200-1500). Helen Geake writes: "Dating of lead whorls is difficult. The drop spindle with …

Lead conical weight with a pointed apex and circular base. The base has a cavity within it that is almost circular in plan. The apex has an integral central circular aperture that is 3 mm in diameter which may have been used with a hook to suspend the weight, but it is more likely to have been used as a standing weight.
