Probably a Post Medieval lead alloy uniface token or possibly a weight. It is sub oval in plan. The artefact appears complete but damaged. The raised decoration consists of a roughly central castle or gatehouse. The possibility exists that this may represent Borwick Hall or Lancaster Castle. An illegible legend is visible near the edge. Probably dates to between c1600 and c1900 AD.
The length is 32mm, width 29mm, and weight 5g.

A cast lead alloy token of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The token is flat and circular and is decorated on one side with a raised design of eleven spokes radiating from a central pellet. Three concentric circles expand from the pellet. This design may represent a ship's wheel. The reverse of the token is flat and undecorated. The metal is greenish-brown colour and is worn. Tokens with such simple designs are very easy to make and continued in use for a long period. They have a huge range of designs and could have been used for various purposes such as substitute coinage, counting a…

Post Medieval biface cast lead or lead alloy circular token (Powell Class 1 and 7). The token has raised decoration on both faces. On one, a flower with six pointed oval petals, meeting at the remains of a central pellet. This one's casting is reminiscent of tokens that can be firmly dated to the Post Medieval so a general date of c1600 to c1800 AD is suggested.
There are a number of biface tokens on the database that combine variations on the flower & grid patterns. They include BH-398DB5, LANCUM-AA8DE1, LIN-FEF606, BUC-971B98, LANCUM-FAFC27, and ESS-F605C7.

Post Medieval lead or lead alloy bifacial token. It is circular in plan. The overall decorative scheme is raised and possibly a debased imitation of a long cross coin. It has similarities with Powell types 3, 10, and 14. Obverse possibly depicts a debased portrait in a circular border and the reverse decoration resembles a cartwheel or the merged crosses of the Union flag in a circular border. Probably dates to between c1550 and c1800 AD.
The diameter is 20mm, weight 6.5g.
Similar examples, not necessarily bifacial, on the database include OXON-563164 and WMID-BDCCDD
