Small vessel fragment probably dating from the Roman period, i.e. c. AD43-410. The vessel was made of skin-coloured earthenware. The fabric looks like it was tempered with small quartzite crystals and probably some organic material that got burned in the kiln, but left impressions in the fabric. The sherd probably came off a medium-sized lipped bowl.

Very small vessel fragment probably dating from the Roman or Medieval period, i.e. c. AD43-1500. The fragment is small and probably came off a simple bowl or food storage vessel. It was made from light orange/red-coloured earthenware and it was, in all likelyhood, not glazed which suggests a Roman date.

Very worn rim sherd, probably of a vessel dating from the late Roman period, i.e. c. AD200-410. It seems to be a rim fragment from a local oxidised coarse ware vessel. All surfaces are heavily abraded. It was made from light/cream-coloured earthenware with some finer but mostly medium-sized quarzite inclusions. The rim has a small ledge curving towards the inside of the vessel. The outside is decorated with a faint, worn zig-zag pattern in the upper part and the surface of the vessel has been brushed after a slip of slightly darker cream-colour was applied.
