A small later Roman (AD 200-410) cast copper-alloy key. The bow is circular with the rectangular-section stem projecting from one edge. A rectangular bit then turns a right angle at the end of the stem. The bit contains one rectangular cleft which can be seen from the end of the key. Two grooves decorate the stem of the key, and there are two grooves on the outer face of the bit. The object has a dark green patina. 22mm diameter of hoop, 30mm in length, 14mm in width (of bit), 10mm thick (of bit), weight 9.6g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy anthropomorphic figurine dating to the Roman period, (AD43-410). There is no evidence of drapery and the figure appears to be naked and male although the sexual organs are not defined. The left leg has broken just below the knee and each hand has broken away at just above the wrist. These breaks appear to have occurred during antiquity. A complete copper alloy Roman finger ring probably dating from the late Iron Age to Early Roman period. The object is formed of a coiled wire probably dating to the 1st century BC - 2nd century AD. The finger-ring is circular in plan and formed from an oval sectioned wire that has been looped around in a spiral three times. The terminals are both flattened but show no sign of an uneven break, suggesting they are complete. One terminal has been bent backwards and pushed inside the hoop. The object consists of one large side from which projects a smaller oval of lead. This would have passed through the hole in the vessel to secure the mend. The object has a central circular perforation with an internal diameter of 10mm. Traces of very worn decoration on the upper surface consisting of pellets and lines are visible. The object has a mid white patina and is in fair condition. Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the Medieval period c.1100-1500.

An incomplete copper alloy Polden Hill (Dolphin sprung) type, of Roman dating (AD 50- AD 70). In plan, the brooch is almost T-shaped, and D-shaped in cross section. The wings are semi-circular in cross-section. The head of the brooch rises up from the wings and tapers to the broken edge, forming the bow of the object. The claw, or crest, on the head of the brooch, to hold the spring, is broken. The lower part of the brooch is missing. The object is 26.54mm long and 25.19mm wide. The bow is 7.15mm thick. The object weighs 11.7g.
