A Henry VIII groat of the second coinage and dates to either 1529-32 or 1538-41. The initial mark is a lis and this coin is a true coin and not a mule as there is also a lis on the rev. The bust is type Laker D. The lettering is in the lombardic style with the ob legend reading HENRIC VIII D G R ANG Z FRANCE. The rev reads as POSVI DEV ADIVTORE MEV. Mint is London. North 1797. Thee is a nick to one edge of the coin.
Diameter 25mm.
