Object type: FINGER RING
Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL

simple cast cu-alloy finger ring decorated with floral motif, possibly a snow drop(?).
Shortly after this ring was recorded two more were submitted for recording - adorned with exactly the same simple decoration (found at Aintree racecourse, Liverpool, and Halton, Lancs.). This may suggest that this kind of finger ring may have been quite popular at the time.

Unidentified lead fragment. Original identification suggested the object may have been a fragment of a printing block, however, there is a slight curve to the decorated side which would suggest otherwise. Possibly a fragment of lead mould for a pottery vessel. The decoration shows a lined edge with two curved lines and a possible leaf/flower pattern inside.
