Cast copper alloy harness mount dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is sub-circular in plan and domed with a raised central boss. The edges of the object have broken away. The object has a redish-brown patina and is in poor condition.

A cast cu-alloy circular bridle boss dating from the 17th century. It has a central raised dome and a surrounding flat plate from which extend a series of lobes. The boss has a scrolled outer band with human figures. On the lower part of the dome is a series of foliate motifs, while on the dome itself is symmetrical foliate ornament with trefoils. There are two opposed rivet holes for attachment to the leather bridle. The one surviving rivet has decorative notches on its head. On the back of the plate this rivet is bent at right angles and has a separate cylindrical sheet metal collar.
