Copper alloy crucifix. A plain cross with sunken panels for inset material (possibly wood or leather, now lost). The cross would probably have held the figure of a haloed Christ attached by three rivets with the remains of a mounted halo in situ and a further rivet hole marking the loss of a separate scroll at the top of the cross. An integrally cast knop at the top bears a laterally drilled hole for suspension. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900. Very similar to NLM-018DB7 which has the figure of an intact Christ.
