Cast decorative lead knop possibly used as a decorative fitting, stopper or cap. The front of the artefact demonstrates a large central pellet with 6 equidistant triangular segments projecting from this towards the outer edge. Decorating each segment are 5 dots in a linear form. These segments are separated by equal sized plain segments. The reverse of the artefact tapers slightly from the front of the artefact to form a collar at the back. This collar marks the edge of a slightly recessed area. Probably 17th-19th century in date.

Cast lead toy gun. The barrel is missing and only the front of the handle remains. There are two holes in the handle which would have accommodated rivets to connect the rear face. The handle has ‘DEPOSE’ written in raised relief. They were popular around the 17th century.

Solid cast lead Napoleon toy. The obverse shows Napoleon depicted in typical dress with arms crossed over its chest. A sword hangs from the waist. Toy is broken from the knees down. The figurine dates to the post-medieval era when toy soldiers like this were made for children although they were often restricted to use by the wealthy (Bailey 2002 page 62). Lead seal, possibly originating from a bale of heckled flax from St Petersburg in Russia. These seals were attached to the bales that were imported into Britain and were eventually thrown out with the woody part of the stem to be mixed with night soil removed from the openb streets or with manure and sold to local farmers as fertliser or to treat the land.

Lead handle in the shape in a bird (possibly a raven) from a post medieval tobacco jar. The handle is cast, and the edges of the casting are still visable. The bird sitting on a lozenge shaped bases which has a groove round the middle. The shaft is rounded, and fixes to the tobacco box by a rounded flat ended knob.
