It has alo been pierced with a neat, round hole, probably contemporaneously. A complete copper alloy trade weight, one of a set that would have stacked. It is circular with a raised rim, and the weight would suggest that it is 1/2 ounce. Inside are the stamps of a laver or coffee pot, the inspection mark of the Worshipful Company of Founders, who controlled the lawful making of weights in London and for three miles around (Withers and Withers 2011, page 78). At each corner is an upstanding 'knop' cutting the diagonal of the corner to about a quarter of its length. Running across the face from these are two parallel lines etched into the lead alloy. A broken copper alloy fixture or fitting probably of the post medieval period, AD 1500 - 1900. It comprises a bar of D shaped cross-section which is broken at one end. At the other end it bends backwards into a loop with the end of the bar butting against the back of the bar. The bar tapers towards the loop. It is undecorated with a green and brown patina. Dimensions are length 74.2mm; width 12.6mm; thickness 3.7mm; weight 23.53g. The function of this object is uncertain but it appears to be some type of fixture or fitting, perhaps a window hinge or the end of a tool handle or implement.

Shy cocks seem to have been a British phenomena that were popular from the late fifteenth to the eighteenth centuries. This one is unusual as it appears to be decorated on both sides. Fairing rings were cheaply made finger rings given as prizes, or sold, at rural fairs, or sold by tinkers etc. Many are found at sites traditionally associated with fairs. An incomplete possible lead alloy palm guard. It has probably been approximately circular, although much of the edge of one quarter and some of the opposite side is missing. It is very slightly domed in the centre, and in this are some marks possibly from use as a palm guard. It has a light brown colour with some sheen, except the damaged areas which are the grey of lead alloy. It is possible that this is a token rather than an unusual palm guard but there is not enough evidence to conclude. Dimensions: Diameter is 39mm maximum and 33mm where damaged, it weighs 23.90g

A complete copper alloy post medieval small or court sword or dagger pommel, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century AD. The pommel is round, with the top narrowing slightly before ending in a rounded and flattened knop. In the top centre on this is a circular hole for attachment. At the opposite end the pommel narrows, then widens to a circular collar. In the bottom of this is a square hole for attachment to the sword or dagger. A circular weight, worn and unmarked. It is circular in plan and has a raised circular edge on the upper side. There are assay marks but they make little sense, one is 7.8 and the other possibly 7.B, and may be part of the users personal cipher. The central, circular assay mark is too denuded to interpret. It is plain on the back. A weight of 10.85g would suggest that it was to represent 1/3oz. The weight has brown patina.
