The upper and lower knops are perforated by dome topped rivets. To the reverse the rivets can be seen projecting though not evidence of a catchplate or hinge remain. Two smaller rectangular plates project from the centre of the two shortest end, both terminating in worn breaks. The front of the main plat is decorated with a border of wriggle work. Copper alloy annular brooch complete with pin, dating to the medieval period c. 1200-1400AD. The main part of the band is rectangular in section. The pin, which is also copper alloy, is square in section and tapers to a point. The upper surface of the brooch has two concentric grooves in between which has been stamped lettering reading 'ihc naza renus' (Jesus of Nazareth). The underside of the brooch is plain. A body sherd of probably medieval pottery from a ceramic vessel. The sherd is 87.18mm long, 57.5mm wide and 9.3mm thick. It is an orange coloured fabric with dull black angular inclusions, especially on the outer surface. There are also smaller white inclusions and some mica or quartz. The fabric is hard, rough and hackly. It is wheel turned. There is no glazing. This sherd is probably from a medieval pot, but only an expert with knowledge of local pottery types could determine the ware and exact date.

Originally thought to be a styca, closer inspection suggests that the visible part of the design is a crude forward facing figure, with a cross on the right, rather than the central cross and surrounding letters that would be expected on a styca. A broken copper alloy fixture or fitting probably of the post medieval period, AD 1500 - 1900. It comprises a bar of D shaped cross-section which is broken at one end. At the other end it bends backwards into a loop with the end of the bar butting against the back of the bar. The bar tapers towards the loop. It is undecorated with a green and brown patina. Dimensions are length 74.2mm; width 12.6mm; thickness 3.7mm; weight 23.53g. The function of this object is uncertain but it appears to be some type of fixture or fitting, perhaps a window hinge or the end of a tool handle or implement.

An incomplete early Romano British or Roman cast copper alloy strap-mounted terret ring of Lewis' type 19 'dropped-bar' form. The terret consists of a circular loop of 41.5mm maximum diameter with a a bevelled lozengiform cross section and stumps for a (now lost) projecting square loop on one side. The internal diameter of the loop is 26.6mm. There is no visible surface decoration and the patina is an even dark green.

A lead bi-conical spindle whorl decorated on both sides.The central hole is eight mm in diameter. The decoration on one side consists of ten raised oblique lines radiating from the central hole to the edge, forming cells; each cell holds a raised pellet. The opposite side is decorated with a raised cross,each arm of the cross contains three oblique lines and there are three pellets in each of the quarters formed by the cross. The body which is in good condition has a dark brownish patina and looks to have not had much use.
