Medieval to early Post Medieval ceramic vessel base sherd of unglazed variably fired gritty ware. The fabric is orange red, dark grey where unoxidised, lightly abraded, and can be scratched with a firmly applied thumbnail. Inclusions and voids mostly under 2mm and sub rounded. Probably dates to between c1066 and c1600 AD. Length 54mm, width 40mm, thickness 12mm (9mm base), weight 24.52g.
