The fabric is orange red, dark grey where unoxidised, lightly abraded, and can be scratched with a firmly applied thumbnail. Inclusions and voids mostly under 2mm and sub rounded. Probably dates to between c1066 and c1600 AD. Length 54mm, width 40mm, thickness 12mm (9mm base), weight 24.52g.
