Post Medieval silver Russian coin, possibly a kopek, of an uncertain ruler dating to the period AD 1550-1750. Uncertain reverse. Mint uncertain.
The obverse appears to show two or three lines of writing, and the reverse might be part of a horse and rider.
These coins were struck on a short length of silver wire cut to weight, hence they are often called "wire money".
It measures 10.76mm in diameter at its widest point, reducing to 8.86mm, 0.79mm in thickness and weighs 0.37g.

Post Medieval silver shilling of James I (1603-1625) of the Second Coinage, fourth bust. Initial mark escallop (North 2100; Spink 2655), weakness to lower portrait and in corresponding area of reverse. No obvious signs of having been clipped, but has evidence of damage caused by ploughing resulting in a curved dent towards the obverse, Most apparent on the word IACOBVS. Dates from 1606 to 1607 AD.
Diameter 31mm, weight 5.7g.

Obverse: The coin is very worn and so very little can be made out of the obverse face.
Obverse legend: The legend will be some variety of +STIEFNE (REX).
Reverse: Cross moline with fleurs in angles.
