Rome mint.The reverse shows a draped female figure standing facing left, holding a long torch, nearly vertical in right hand, and probably a palladium in the left hand. Both attributes appear to be full length. The figure is possibly Vesta. The edges of the coin are damaged. Dimensions: 27.7mm diameter, 4.1mm thick and 11.1g.

Post Medieval silver coin, probably a William III sixpence, bent into a form commonly known as a love token. The coin appears to have been bent on more than one occasion from different angles, forming a cusp on each side. One of the cusps appears to contain indentations which may have been caused by biting it. Flat spots on the raised edges suggest it continued in circulation after being bent. Dates to between c1694 and c1702 AD.
Diameter 19mm and weight 1.6g.
Some sources suggest that worn silver coins would often be bent to prove they were not counterfeit, as silver washed…
