A silver shilling of Elizabeth I of the second issue with the initial mark a martlet indicated it was produced in Thomas Fleetwood's mint in the Tower during the recoinage, date is 1560-61AD. ELIZABETH D G AN FR ET HI REGINA is the ob legend and POSVI/DEV AD/IVTORE/M MEV is the rev legend. The diameter is 28mm and the weight 5.11g.

The edge of the coin is damaged and curled back onto the obverse for a section on one side. Diameter: 26mm. Weight: 2.8g.
