A worn post medieval silver sixpence of William III (AD 1694-1702) dated to 1696-1702. Mint uncertain. Both faces are completely worn and the coin has been bent twice into an S-shape.

Post Medieval contemporary forgery of a third coinage fourth head Laurel or 20 Shilling of James I. Mintmark spur rowel. The surface's gold coating has largely been lost and the metals (largely fairly poor gade silver) beneath somewhat eroded. It is, however, surprisingly legible. Dates of original coin from c1619 to c1620 AD, suggested date range for the copy c1619 to c1625 AD.
Diameter 37mm, weight 5.69g.

The obverse bears the bust of the king laurate, small head right. Legend reads GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA
The reverse has the crowned garter and shield, surrounded by the motto of the Order of the Garter HONI SOIT QUE MAL Y PENSE. The legend around the edge of the coin reads REX FID DEI BRITANNIARUM
The coin is degraded with the surface flaking off, particularly on the obverse. The reverse has brown staining which may have been acquired while in the ground

The obverse face is very worn, and the legend largely illegible. The reverse carries a shield and the legend reads QVAE_______NEMO SEPARET, as well as the date 1605

Probably a Post Medieval copper alloy George I first 'dump' issue halfpenny. The faces of the coin are quite degraded but what appears to be the right facing bust of George I is just about discernable in favourable light. The diameter and weight also conform to proposed issue, rather than the larger second issue. Probably dates to between c1717 and c1718 AD.

Post Medieval to Modern cast copper alloy Chinese Qing dynasty cash. The coin is circular with a central square perforation and has broken two thougfh both pieces are present. Probably a ?1/4? tael or XX zhū. Cash was often carried on a cord which passed through the square hole. The coins were brought back to Britain by travellers, soldiers, and sailors. Dates to between c1644 and c1911 AD.
