A complete, albeit very worn, Medieval silver hammered voided short cross penny of King Henry II (AD 1154-1189). It is of class 1b or 1c. Mint and moneyer unknown. Dates to AD 1180-1189. Obverse: Crowned bust of king facing. Reverse: Voided short cross, with three pellets in each quadrant. It measures 19.25mm in diameter, 0.79mm in thickness, and weighs 1.33g.

Complete, worn medieval silver penny of King Henry II (AD 1154-1189). The vestige of a cross on the back indicates it to be a cross-and-crosslets 'Tealby' type coinage dating to the period AD 1158-1180. Not further defined (North 1994: 216-217, refs: 952-961). Obverse: Illegible; [Crowned bust facing, wearing armour and mantle with sceptre in right hand]. Trace details of the bust's face can still be seen.
