Post Medieval hammered silver penny of Henry VIII, a 'sovereign' type of the second coinage (North N1811). Initial mark trefoil on obverse. Mint of Durham, Bishop Wolsey. Dates to between c1526 and c1529 AD. Ref: North 1991, pg 112. The diameter is 15mm, and the weight 0.9g. Obverse inscription h D G ROSA SINE SPIA Reverse inscription CIVI/TAS/DVR/RAM/
