The legend around the edge of the coin reads REX FID DEI BRITANNIARUM The coin is degraded with the surface flaking off, particularly on the obverse. A silver sixpence of James I of England. It has possibly been folded, perhaps as a love token, which practice seems to have been maintained over a long period of time. The obverse face is very worn, and the legend largely illegible. The reverse carries a shield and the legend reads QVAE_______NEMO SEPARET, as well as the date 1605 Dimensions: 2.4mm diameter and weighs 2.67g. Thanks to the finder for the photographs
