A silver sixpence of William III, dated 1696 on coin, Bristol mint mark. Obverse: Laureate, draped bust facing right. Obverse inscription: GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. Reverse: Crowned shields of England, Scotland, France and Ireland arranged in a cruciform; lion of Nassau at centre. Reverse inscription: MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX 1696. The diameter is 20mm and the weight is 2g.
