A complete, albeit heavily clipped, post-medieval silver hammered shilling of Queen Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603), of the Third Coinage dating to AD 1583-1603. No mint mark can be made out clearly on the obverse due to the clipping, but there may be the remains of a woolpack mintmark on the reverse dating to AD 1594-1595/6.
