A medieval silver annular brooch dating from the late 13th to early 14th century 1280 to 1320 AD. Circular sectioned frame, now slightly distorted, with four equally spaced and separately made knops each of which encloses the frame that are undecorated and the bracelet is worn smooth over much of the surface. There are two smaller knops that surround the shank of the pin next to the loop. There is a setting for the pin which is now missing and wear on the frame from the pin. Roman copper alloy headstud brooch fragment. What remains is the intersection of the bow and the crosspiece. The stump of the headstud and the base of the suspension loop are also visible. It is probable that the bow, and possibly the wings and the stud, were decorated with enamel cells. Dates from between c75 and c200 AD.
The length is 25mm, the width is 16mm, thickness 11mm, and the weight 7.17g.

An incomplete Roman copper-alloy disc brooch dating to between c75 and c410 AD. The brooch is circular, one face has a raised external rim, a second raised rim 5mm from the edge, and a circular boss in the centre. The perimeter band retains possible remnants of the wire used to delineate cells of enamel. The centre probably contained a dome shaped piece of coloured glass or a semi precious stone. There are two lugs on the other face. One contains the trapped remains of of the pin, the other is the catchplate.
The diameter is 30mm, thickness 10mm, and the weight is less than 11.97g.

Probably a fragment of cast copper alloy Roman headstud brooch (75-175 AD). Only the bow of the brooch survives below the head survives. It is sub triangular in section with what would have originally have been bright blue enamel lozenges along the apex . The recess for the headstud is intact and it would have been attached by a rivet. At the base, the foot is missing. A concave recess suggests that this was also a separate stud which is now missing. The catch plate and the base of the bow are missing. The length is 22mm and the thickness12mm.

Medieval brooch consisting of a circular frame with grooved decoration at four equidistant points. Black niello decoration remains in some of the grooves but is missing in most of them. The pin survives intact and is still in place. The pin has a circular collar and tapers to a point.
The brooch is silver and dates from the 13th century or early 14th century.
Dimensions: diameter 35 mm.
In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

An almost complete copper-alloy early Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch dating to the 5th or 6th century AD. The headplate is rectangular and measures 22mm in length and 21mm in width. The front of the headplate is decorated with a slightly raised central panel and a pair of wings which slope slightly to their edges, the best-preserved of which is decorated with a border groove. Enamelled cast cu-alloy Dragonesque brooch dating from the 1st century AD. The brooch is incomplete with one of the heads of the brooch's body missing as well as the pin. The brooch was cast having small 'cloisonne'-style fields on the obverse whilst the reverse was plain. The obverse fields were filled with different coloured enamel, probably red and blue. They made of a geometrical and floral pattern and there was also enamel on the remaining head of the brooch, especially around the circular 'eye'. A complete copper-alloy Roman penannular brooch dating from c. AD43-410. The brooch frame is complete and survives in an excellent condition, with a pitted but high shine patina which has worn under the pin loop, giving it a brassy appearance. Both terminals survive, both culminates in round knops, decorated with incised lines, arranged in a spiral formation. Incomplete cast copper alloy possible Roman flat edged disc brooch with enamelled decoration. It is round extremely worn and corroded with possibly a pattern in the centre with some red enamel. Fragment of a cast copper ally Roman knee brooch. The head and part of the bow remain. It is a fan shaped plate headed type. The remains of the bow is slightly arched and hollow. Behind the head are two perforated integral lugs between which the spring would have sat. It has a smooth light green patina.

Medieval silver brooch formed of four crescents joned together with three shields which are keyed for enamel. The shields are decorative rather than heraldic. A fourth space is left vacant for the attachment of the pin which may have borne a fourth shield to complete the composition. The pin is absent. The brooch dates from c1300 to c1400 AD.

Extremely corroded bow and head fragment of a Roman trumpet brooch dating from the early Roman period, i.e. c. AD75-175. The brooch has lots its foot, half its bow, the spring and pin. The remaining part of the bow still retains, however, the typical trumpet-shaped head, the petal-and-reel (or acanthus-leaf) decoration in the top centre of the bow.

Cast cu-alloy headstud brooch dating to the Early Roman period. The brooch is almost complete and in very good condition with only the spring and pin missing. Bow, headstud, spring case and loop (for suspension of beads, etc?) are still intact. Bow and head are very sturdy, with a rectangular cross-section and limited amount of decoration: there are two thin grooves on the bow and two more around the headstud as well as vertical grooves (possibly a reel motif?) on the sides of the cross bar (see image).

An incomplete cast copper alloy Romano-British one-piece Colchester type brooch. Behind the flat rectangular wings is a copper alloy spring with four surviving coils. The other half of the coils and the pin are missing. On top of the head is a forward facing hook to secure the spring. The plain bow is hexagonal in section and tapers to a plain pointed foot.
