Large pewter button, complete, dating from the early modern period. The decoration was based on a late medieval or early post-medieval Bohemian 'Thaler' dating from c. 1526/27. It was of the Countship of Schlick, minted before 1526 in Joachimsthal. The die cutter may have been Melshior Peuerlein(?). The original coin was silver and c. 42mm in diameter, weighing 29.11g. The obverse reads (and so does the button): S-TE&FRA COM D B-AR DOMI SLI (the button reads 'SLI' which is probably an error). Small three-piece button made from pewter. It is a post-medieval composite three-piece button, i.e. a hollow sphere with soldered median join and separately inserted drawn wire loop (blow hole on reverse). The obverse is decorated with a very small central knop.

Cast pewter ring. The hoop is plain to the rear. The bezel takes the form of a man’s face with a beard and a significant mane of hair which stretches around to the sides of the hoop. Probably very modern in date as the construction is crude and the hoop is very thick.

Small 16th-17th century pewter button, its shank missing. It has domed head which is decorated with slightly curved incisions from centre to outer edge. Originally it may have had a black paint or pitch coating the surface.
