The obverse has three hollow pointed oval shaped petals radiating from the centre; however, it is likely there would have been six prior to the break. Representing Powell Type 1 (symbolic petalled flower). A complete cast lead uniface token dating to the medieval to post-medieval period (c.1350-1850). The obverse has a cross pattern, with each arm made of three raised ridges. At the centre of the cross is a pellet. Each quadrant has two V-shaped ridges. The reverse is undecorated, and the object has developed a grey patina. A lead possible token probably dating from the Medieval or Post Medieval periods, about AD 1200 - 1800. It may fit into Powell type 16/28. The object is a thin disc of lead. One side is impressed with a border circle made from a zigzag line which was probably rouletted, so-called wigglework or rocker arm decoration.
