Late Medieval to early Post Medieval copper alloy chafing dish handle and lug. The handle is shaped like an inverted openwork letter 'T'. The lug is still attached, with a circular rivet where it would have been attached to the chafing dish. The metal has a dark brown patina. The handle was probably cast as a single piece and finished with a file. The lug piercing appears to have been formed as a notch, then pressed or hammered closed around the handle. It also shows file marks as part of its manufacture. Dates to between c 1400 and c1600 AD. The chafing dish handle is 38 mm long…

A cast copper-alloy chape, probably from a dagger dating to the Medieval period. It is a cone shaped chape with an edge to edge seam and a separately cast tip which has been soldered into place. There is a single decorative line approximately one third down from the open end.

A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Post-medieval date. It is a rectangular frame which is rectangular in section with a narrowed circular bar for the pin which is present. The pin is attached to the bar in an open loop. It is circular in section and tapers to a point. There is a small circular setting in the pin where it is attached to the bar.

A cast copper-alloy buckle frame fragment. Decoration consists of two cast parallel lines running the full length of the bar with multiple incised oblique grooves on the outer edge. there is also a centrally placed pin groove. Whitehead has this type of decoration on this type of buckle as late 15th to 16th century.
