An incomplete copper alloy rowel spur dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1450-1550). The object consists of the back end of the spur; it is curved and the sides are incomplete. Integral to the back is the neck which is rounded and terminates at a worn break at the place of the rowel box. The spur is undecorated and has a dark green patina with a rough and pitted surface. The object has a sub-circular cross section and presents a narrowed constriction which has worn break at the end. The face is decorated with a cast decoration presenting chevrons and pellets. The underneath is undecorated. The object has a dark brown patina. An Early Bronze Age III - Middle Bronze Age I (1800-1500 BC) flanged axe head or axe shaped ingot, possibly water rolled, and unusual in its crudeness.
