A complete lead trade weight of medieval to post-medieval date, about AD 1380 - 1600. The weight is sub-triangular; shield-shaped with rounded edges and corners, having a flat top and sides tapering to a point. The edge is a border round a raised surface which is decorated with a raised moulded design of a crowned fleur de lis. The handle is a broadly trapeziodal; wider at the base with rounded lower corners and narrowed at the top with a short straight upper edge. A stone possible cresset lamp, of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The object is a block of stone (probably sandstone) which is roughly square in plan with a slightly more rounded base. In the centre of the top face is a circular depression of about 9cm diameter. The bowl seems to small to have been used as a mortar or creeing trough. A cast copper alloy annular ring of rounded rectangular section, probably a harness fitting dating from the Medieval or Post Medieval period, about AD 1100 - 1700. Some of the dark grey surface of the ring has flaked off, revealing green metal beneath. It is 26.4 mm in diameter and 3.4mm thick. It weighs 4gm. These are common detector finds, but their function and dating are not well understood (Finds Recording Guide, Geake).

It has a fairly narrow inner profile and no obvious calkins. The shoe has three nail holes on one side and four on the other with six rectangular headed nails extant or partially extant, each standing proud of the shoe. A body sherd of probably medieval pottery from a ceramic vessel. The sherd is 87.18mm long, 57.5mm wide and 9.3mm thick. It is an orange coloured fabric with dull black angular inclusions, especially on the outer surface. There are also smaller white inclusions and some mica or quartz. The fabric is hard, rough and hackly. It is wheel turned. There is no glazing. This sherd is probably from a medieval pot, but only an expert with knowledge of local pottery types could determine the ware and exact date.
