A probable lead alloy mount, roughly circular in shape. On the front of the mount is a face, possibly that of a cherub or putee, the facial features are clearly defined. Around the face is a pattern of circles and lines which radiate from the face, and may represent hair. On the forehead is a sub circular object which is unclear. The back is plain and slightly hollow with a raised rim. It has a brown patina, lighter in the hollows. A very similar example, which also lacks fixings is HESH-E41ACC, which is dated to AD 1600-1800 Dimensions: 26mm wide and long, and weighs 13.92mm
