Large Romano-British button and loop fastener of the double-headed variant. Ring, plano-convex in section, single incised line circumscribes edge towards back. Symmetrically opposed moulded ridges with inscribed circles either side produce two zoomorphic 'faces' on the ring. Shank is split with terminating rectangular plate behind which is a strap-bar. The rectangular plate is decorated on its front upper edge with a meander pattern, the bottom edge has a single incised line.

Pewter 'horn book' with letters W, X, Y and Z in relief above a grid pattern. There are fragments of the letters Q, R, S, T and V above, separated by a horizontal line from the letters below. Full-size hornbooks (of wood and horn or mica) were used as teaching aids, but it seems likely that small lead versions were toys; most seem to be 17th-century in date (Lewis 2012, 98-101).

Four disc lead seal, traces of gilding. One of the main discs has a wheel-like device with a crown and a series of initials between the spokes - H A e Ca [R]. The other main disc has suffered more corrosion but shows a shield and probably a version of the company's heraldry - the arms of England and Scotland joined together and with a fish to the right at the top, all over a large globe.

Oval bow, hemispherical in section, short round shank with two moulded collars becoming square in section where it joins the bit. The bit is central to the shank and is enclosed, being roughly shield-shaped in outline. The centre is cut by three parallel clefts perpendicular to the shank and a central cleft parallel to the shank.
