Late Neolithic to early Bronze Age grey brown flint thumbnail scraper fabricated from a tertiary flake. The scraping edge has been formed with semi-invasive, sub-parallel, semi-abrubt removals along the curved edge. A small gouge or burin has also been fashioned on one of the 'corners' of the flake. Dates to between c2700 to c1600 BC. Length 30mm, width 22mm, thickness 3.5mm, weight 4.80g.

Early to mid Neolithic side scraper on a secondary flake of dark grey chert. Short, parallel to sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to both mesals. The distal end has been shaped with an invasive intial removal terminating in a hinged fracture. It has then had very short sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch. There has been a reduction to the dorsal ridge. Cortex retained at proximal end, probably to aid grip. Dates to between c4000 and c2700 BC. Length 24mm, width 15mm, thickness 7mm, mass 2.86g

Early to mid Neolithic side scraper on a tertiary flake of grey chert. On one mesal two notches have been removed from near the distal end then the whole ventral edge has received short, parallel to sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch The resultant edge probably served three purposes, as a serrated blade, a notched scraper, and as a side scraper if the proximal end was favoured. The other mesal is 7.5mm thick. On its dorsal edge it has short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch to the whole edge. The ventral edge has a series of scaled semi-invasive removals overlaid with short, abrupt, sub-pa…

Mesolithic to early Bronze Age worked white quartz or quartzite scraper. Its overall plan is D shaped, with the straight edge being the working edge. Due to the nature of it crystal structure, this material is hard to date from its working. As it bears a similarity to a D shaped scraper, it would be reasonable to assume that its most likely date of manufacture was late Neolithic to early Bronze Age. Dating to between c7000 to c1601 BC, probably to between c2700 and c1601 BC. The length is 10mm, width 10mm, and the thickness 5mm.

Complete 'D' shaped scraper knapped from grey black flint and dating from the late Neolithic period 2500-2100BC, possibly a Riley Type 5 (Bond, C. Plate 5.112 and 5.113). The scraper is complete, made from a short, round flake with retouch along the total distal and halfway up the two mesial edges. Both the ventral and dorsal faces are very smooth with even ripple marks. Scrapers could have many uses from scraping the fat off animal skins, to scraping the bark off arrow shafts. The length is 42mm, width 34mm, thickness 6mm and the weight is 14.21g.
